Spring 2012 Newsletter
At last, spring is here! Everywhere the daffodils are blooming, the trees are starting to show signs of life again and the weather is warming up. Gardeners everywhere are drawing up plans for the coming year and preparing the soil to ensure a bountiful harvest.
We too are experiencing a new beginning for the Service. Through the winter months, planning has been taking place to ensure that WBS will be ready for the coming year. We have said goodbye to old friends and welcomed new
participants into our Trustees and Management Committee as we go forward with our Patron, Jenny Rees-Larcombe who we are confident will provide inspirational input into our endeavours. However, every single member of the Service has a valuable contribution to make and we look forward to seeing our service flourish with God’s help and through our labours.
It would be a fitting tribute to the work of our founders, Bobby and Margaret, to propagate their work and ensure that the seeds they planted and nurtured over so many years will continue to thrive and benefit the residents of Croydon both now and in future years.
