All Ages

We offer counselling on a one to one basis in children or young people's own homes, at our Centre or at a mutually agreeable location.

Our counsellors are all trained in children's grief work and have been police checked. Sessions can last between 1/2 hour to 1 hour depending on the ages of the children/young-people concerned.

7 -11 years

We offer a group for children aged 7 -11 at our centre.

Groups run on Saturday mornings between 10 and 11 am for 6 weeks. We use play, art & craft, video and stories to explore issues which children face when they are grieving. Please contact WBS for details of the current club or if you would like to refer specific children or young people.

12 -14 years

We offer one to one counselling for older children and group work as appropriate at our Centre.

Groups run after school or on Saturday mornings. We use music, drama, art & craft and videos to explore issues which older children face when they are grieving. Please contact WBS for details of the current activities or if you would like to refer specific children or young people.

14 and above

We offer a one to one counselling and peer group discussion for young people.

We use interactive forums to explore issues which are relevant to modern young people when they are grieving. Please contact WBS for details.

All Ages

Where a class, group or school has been affected by a traumatic event such as death or life threatening illness and need support, our trained volunteers are available to enter schools and offer support both individually and in the classroom.

We are able to initiate small group discussions or lead an assembly.
